So head hair doesn't stop

For long, flowing tresses in our family, I don't think it quite stops growing among girls, etc.  I am aware some girls/women for their hair tresses, it takes forever to grow or it peeters out/gets naturally thin at ends. That was never a problem in my family until maybe in final decade or 2 in life.  So am unfamiliar with so-called unique genetic feature in this family of girls and woman with long hair.   Is naturally long hair, that unusual if allowed to grow?   I don't think so..  Yes, having naturally straight hair helps alot for ease of long-term care.

Am trying to envision...keeping the bathroom floor clear of shedding hair.. there are some hassles with long hair.

Several of my sisters still keep their hair past their shoulders.  They all have really thick full hair.  Brother #1 had a full head of hair when he passed at 63.  Middle brother is mostly bald up top and I’m somewhere in between, thinning but still have coverage.

My daughter had her hair just past her butt but recently cut it to mid back.  She wears it up most of the time so I really didn’t notice any difference when she asked if it looked different…

When a woman/girl has very long hair, it is a huge deal for them to have 5-6 inches cut off. Yet...hardly anyone really notices much at all. A 22-yr. old niece has long straight hair at bum length level. We'll see how old she will be before she dares to go quite short.

I'm not surprised she got it cut shorter....at least for now, with a baby, now active kid.  Lovely long hair requires care and attention... and clean-up from bathroom floor unless one goes outside in background to brush it.
