Giving Tuesday

A nice day to make small donations to good deed doers.  My agency does this through Roc the Day from United Way. There are fun challenge grants. 
 

I don’t like high pressure giving so this really matches my style.  
 

one supporter is donating $100 to match each of our first 25 donations no matter how small.  This means someone can give $10 with a value if $110. Nice way for people without extra money to give.

Longer than that that I can remember, but with the growth of all things online, it really accelerated in recent years.  As the counterpart to Black Friday & Cyber Monday, it's the perfect counterpart to that excess and crass commercialism

I may have jumped the gun.  Yesterday I registered  for the charity 5k race for a local food pantry.  I'll make a deal.  Today if any of you register to join me I will donate an extra $10 for each of you.  It is a very nice trail and a nice inn on site.  Temps will probably be somewhere between 50f and -20f

I will give the extra $10 each even though you won't be running with me.  Have to get on and do it soon while the $20,000 matching grant is in effect. Might as well make this count for all I can.  Thank you for your donations. You are helping people hurt by the slowdown in the RV industry.
