petitepedal ★ Posted December 12, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 12, 2014 So I have this ongoing issue with Wells Fargo and a work account...they lost 3 checks from a deposit....Back in October. I have been going round and round..but I am now on the account and they have to talk to me...after 3 visits this week!! Actually I believe all in 1 day. Anyway...I went there today to deposit for work..and take some of my own cash out (need those laundry quarters)... And WTF they have remodeled the lobby...and now I have a useless 6 inch wide shelf for my purse and any "stuff" I need out for my transaction...deposits etc (with work I may bring in several)...the little card machines are presently up above on the higher wider shelf.."we will be moving those to the lower shelf".....I have gone over the edge...Here I am standing on my tippy toes to swipe my bank card.... It is frustrating being short!!! I guess I will now make a point of waiting for the "handicapped accessible" teller... Short people need to unite and protest. petitepedal ★ Posted December 12, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted December 12, 2014 Those shoes are sweet...but I am not going to walk to the bank in the winter wearing those.....Besides they still aren't high enough. Is this some kind of psychological thing of putting bankers above customers??? I mean the tellers can see over from their side..obviously they have a raised platform on the other side...... I may start carrying a stool with me....Man I am turning in to a crabby short bitch at least as far as the bank goes....

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted December 12, 2014 Share #9 Posted December 12, 2014 Kick Wells Fargo to the curb Petite-one. Get yourself an account at a credit union; they'll treat you much nicer and not lose your checks. Join one with online banking and remote check deposit. You can deposit checks to your account with your smartphone.

jdc2000 Posted December 13, 2014 Share #11 Posted December 13, 2014 Wells Fargo is definitely one of the worst banks. A credit union or a local or regional bank would actually provide customer service and not have a fee for everythong and everything with a fee.
Longjohn ★ Posted December 13, 2014 Share #12 Posted December 13, 2014 I'm glad the banks are starting to implement the changes I suggested. It was hurting my back bending down to those low counters. Besides it was dangerous, a bank robber could just step over them and be inside. ps, I love you Petite
petitepedal ★ Posted December 13, 2014 Author Share #13 Posted December 13, 2014 to you Long John Oh and by the way the little 6 inch wide shelf that will hold the machine to swipe your card...and you can use to maybe...sign a check or fill out a form....is still down at a "normal" height... Your only advantage will be looking them in the eye...
Longjohn ★ Posted December 13, 2014 Share #14 Posted December 13, 2014 I don't very often go inside a bank. I do 90% of my banking online and the rest at the drive up window. My bank gives away pens every time you visit them. I have a bunch of them I give away when someone wants to borrow my pen. They are fine point and I like BOLD.
