Razors Edge ★ Posted December 7, 2022 Share #1 Posted December 7, 2022 Pretty neat. I wonder when I'll see one doing a fly-by? 2023? 2025? 2035?
ChrisL Posted December 7, 2022 Share #2 Posted December 7, 2022 I saw some press on it recently. The B21 is smaller & the shape is different but yeah still a flying wing. Supposed to be a couple of generations ahead of the B2.

You won't see one doing a flyby. Which part of invisible did you miss.
12string Posted December 7, 2022 Share #6 Posted December 7, 2022 Eagles just had a B2 flyover last weekend. At least that's what they said, no one could see or hear it

They've been doing the B2 fly-overs for several years now, so whatever they have been using in the meantime must be pretty cool.

My father and I were seeing the sights and driving on I-90 near Rapid City, SD, in 1991 when we saw one of the relatively new B-1b bombers for the first time. It seemed to be coming in for a landing so I took an exit to the north side of I-90 and went in the direction the plane had been going. We ended up on a small road and didn't realize we were approaching Ellsworth Air Force Base until four guys in uniform with rifles appeared as we approached a locked, chain-link gate! We explained we had followed the plane and they let us get a look through the gate at the B-1b on the runway for a minute before telling us to turn around and drive away.
