Made the towers, but the normal parking/viewing area where we rear and turn around is closed and access is gated off. There was a young woman I followed for a couple miles before finally catching and passing her. I was talking to the 2 guys who were helping her. They would ride with her for a bit, sprint forward and wait or circle back to her. We got to the gate and waited for her to make it and cheered her final climb. She said it was her first time and harder than her Ironman. I would doubt that but we all joked we should sign up for an Ironman! The descent was a bit chilly even with the fleece lined kit! Edit - this was my first time in the mountain since July, I think. Just a lot of conflicts and I was just not feeling it in November.
