Other people's brags...are different

  In the other forum where I am (Finance), there's a 78 ish woman (mother of 2 adult, etc.), who mentioned she has been living off her dividends and annuities this yr. due to seasick stock market. She seems very methodical...a bit dry to me. Gives good advice. Has had jobs working worldwide probably in oil and gas, since she is originally from my province. 

No humour. Kinda battle-axe old school feminist who tries so hard not to let her personality come through, by being purely factual to gain respect among guys.   I get that.

But this is not a job/career related forum, for heaven's sake.
