I've been cutting back on the drinking myself. It may seem like I spend a lot of time at the corner bar but I really don't for Wisconsin standards.

ChrisL Posted January 1 Share #10 Posted January 1 SoCal is getting a nice steady rain. We have had two systems blow through the past few days and more is in store next week. So far it’s setting up to be a wet winter. I don’t recall now how many years but I want to say we had a string of 7 dry winters leading into our last really bad drought 2-3 years back. We had a drought busting winter then at least two relatively wet winters since.

This is true and while I love a good thunderstorm, nothing beats a winter storm at Tofino, BC. When the surf, the wind and rain are insane, it is an amazing site. Unfortunately, they do make work for @Zephyr. 2
