Popular Post Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted January 4 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 4 We had the chimney inspected today. The house came with a propane insert with the fake logs and fake heat. We punted the propane tank when the range went electric. Removed the ineffective faux faar place and had the inspector give us the a-ok to burn oak down there. All good. Damper works good, flue is clean, and the cap is new stainless steel. I’ve got to mortar the hole where the gas line was and wait for colder weather (it’s 61 right now) 2

It is good to feel warm and safe.

I’ve got 1 1/2 cords set aside for me with probably another cord in reserve (not cut or split yet). 1
