I've strained muscles when I reached my long arms sideways to pick up 20-30 lb stuff.  Clearly that which is not used much wastes away, like Hippocrates said over 2000 years ago. In my 40's, 50's, coaching high school, I used to do complete weight machine workouts, benching 230 lbs.  I'm too

So one my two 2023 goals - the other being weight loss - is to start doing workouts other than long walks or cycling.  I've got the resistance bands and ordered the workout mat so I can do some of it, plus pushups, down on the floor.  I've got lots of short workout videos that came with the bands plus a few ebooks including a Julia Warman's c.2020 book that has sections on problem issues including Shoulders, Knees, Hips, Back Pain, Arthritis, Diabetes, and High Blood Pressure.
