Square Wheels Posted December 19, 2014 Share #15 Posted December 19, 2014 Some days I want to give up cable altogether. I watch very little TV. We tend to use Netflix a fair amount. We usually watch one show a day, 40 - 60 minutes. I like to watch my home team hockey and football teams. I think I could live without it. I believe I signed a 2 year contract when we got our latest rate, I might cancel after that.

kingtermite Posted December 19, 2014 Share #19 Posted December 19, 2014 What do you use. We watch about 3 hours of tv a week. Food TV, car shows, and Shelton Cooper. Netflix Amazon prime Play on ^^^This We dropped our "cable" to the "local channels only" package. It's less than basic cable. It's only the same local channels you'd get with antenna but clearer and they throw in a few freebees (like the music channels and Discovery). It's like $13-15/month. Besides that, we supplement with Netflix and/or Amazon Prime.

jsharr ★ Posted December 19, 2014 Share #21 Posted December 19, 2014 I like a nice rope. The new high tech stuff is really light, coils nicely and is very low stretch and holds a knot well. Cable is much harder to work with and you need ferrules, cable clamps, etc. to do a job properly.
