Popular Post KrAzY Posted January 6 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 6 Sadly I gave up the car I been tinkering with for about a year. I just have not had the time to put in to it that I wanted. A guy came over and offered me 1,200 more than I bought it for. At least I didn’t lose anything on it. now comes the new driver and he will be taking my truck… so what vehicle will I be getting.. who knows, but I’m leaning towards a ‘65-66 C10 or a jeep cj5 as a daily driver.. why must old vehicles look so much better then new ones 3 1 1 1

The scoops on the corvette are nice, but fins are fabulous 5 minutes ago, Airehead said: Hopefully the new owner will get it rolling. That would make you happy. I'm sure he will get it going in due time. He said he wanted to haggle more with me, but was pissed off there is is no rust and the wood frame is amazing. He basically buys and fixes up cars to sell off. I'm good with that as long as he gets it rolling. He invited me over to see his collection of about 20 cars he fixed up and has up for sale

I like the 60 vett because when I was about 4 years old I had a ride in one and I thought it was cool. There's a shop in town that their only business is restoring corvettes and they are always driving vintage corvettes around town.
Parr8hed Posted January 6 Share #7 Posted January 6 JC7 are much more comfy than a CJ5. Much more room for the driver.

Randomguy Posted January 6 Share #10 Posted January 6 This is the truck I would like, but I am not sure what exactly I am looking at. I like the house, too, but the house is not a truck. 1

If you watch the car shows on TV, the old trucks boom is in full swing. What used to be "I'll pay you to haul it away" sort of finds are now "Bring your checkbook and consult your financial advisor" sorts of things. There is a trend, though, in keeping the patina or wear/tear/rust/etc on the exterior while making them "modern" from a drivability standpoint. All the benefits of the cool old looks and actual reliable and fun to drive as well.

The GHI is an awesome experience for visitors to Boulder, you just jam up a mountain road until the road turns to dirt, and soon you are in Gold Hill. Everyone I took there raved about it.

KrAzY Posted January 6 Author Share #16 Posted January 6 I could also buy this and constantly have the feeling like I would like to drive into a bridge embankment multiple times.

KrAzY Posted January 7 Author Share #18 Posted January 7 Think I found it. Going to call tomorrow to see what it will take to get it here or if I have to fly there and drive it home.
KrAzY Posted January 13 Author Share #19 Posted January 13 Well I called...waited a day... then got word it is mine, paperwork signed and back at the dealership.. now it is just wait for it to be shipped to me from Ohio. I was going to fly up and drive it home, but they gave free shipping.. could not pass that one up. NOW its just sit back and wait.. and think of modifications I want to do to it once it shows up... The '28 was loaded on the trailer last night to go live at it's new place.. I got some work done on it, but they are going to finish up the rest.
