How much do you bloat from just certain foods?

Have had some strange body responses.

It doesn't happen often but around tummy, even 2 inch less difference. Didn't eat less nor did I do anything strenuous. However I know when I sleep deep and long (which am working on), I seem to wake up, abit overheated as if nice, long sleep burnt up more calories.

Must be a combination of gassy foods (haven't spent time figuring what they all are for me. Am not in danger zone.), sleeping longer, etc. And it's winter time, where I'm just less active. <_<

I'm not talking about drinking a ton of fluid, eating a filling Thxgiving nor Christmas meal which naturally tummy gets fuller, than other times of yr.

Yeah certain foods do blow me up too.  I get really bad bloat/ gas but I can’t necessarily say it’s a certain food.  Lots of foods blow me up.  I often wake at night with really bad gas pain too.  I have to sit/stand & get the gas bubble moved before I can get back to sleep.

My SiL makes a delicious broccoli salad for various get-togethers.  The problem is the broccoli is raw, and for whatever reason, that gives me gas.  Not stinky gas, but definitely "build up in the belly gas and hope for a nice opportunity to pass it unnoticed" sort of gas :D

I am pretty gassy since the surgery, but I hope this phase passes soon.  Bloat is never fun.

Anyway, fried foods are gas producers, as are peas and cabbage, and lentils are gassy little bastards, too.
