Road Runner Posted January 7 Share #10 Posted January 7 Where are you buying them? I see you have a Discount Tire in Jackson. DT was recommended to me by @jsharr and they were great when I got new tires on my truck.

I found a local place that price matched to DT, so I asked them to get them in for me. I went today for a leaky tire and they spent about an hour trying to find the leak and didn't charge me anything.

This car weighs over four thousand pounds, that's a lot for a little car. I hear I should have got about 20 - 25 out of them, I won. 1
MickinMD ★ Posted January 7 Share #21 Posted January 7 I had college friends from Pennsylvania who moved to the deep south, but would stop in our area once a year on their way to visiting PA relatives. Within two years the southern drawls they acquired were so funny for us to hear because WE originally had more southern accents than them. When I returned to Maryland after grad school in Chicago, I had picked up rounder-sounding vowels and occasionally lapsed into d's in place of th's like, "I want dis, not dat." Also, I couldn't stand Maryland pizza for about 9 months after the great pizza in Chicago. I think it was a difference in the sauce back then.

I replaced with Michelin, IIRC 50k mile taars. When I sold the vehicle there was still tread left but they were getting dry rot The guy who bought it, put new taars on.
