Most people believe the biggest mistake the Japanese made was not catching the aircraft carriers in port or not launching the third wave because they thought the element of surprise had been lost.  Their biggest mistake was not destroying the oil storage tanks and fueling facilities for the ships.  Without fuel, the US Navy would have been limited only to what oilers (tanker ships) could have provided.  If they had taken out the tanks, all ships would have had go to bases back in the States until the tanks had been rebuilt and the facilities restored.

We are watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I’ve seen it years ago.

Love that movie.  Bunt, bunt!!! OMG I laugh my ass off thinking about it.

In a way that’s my wife & I.  Girl from a quiet small uptight family marries into a large loud ethnic family.

My wife watches Investigation Discoveries (ID) channel.  Basically true life slasher junk.  She loves that stuff.  I point out it just glamorizes it and makes money off sensationalism and she doesn't care.  I don't like that stuff and yet these people -- real people -- lost their lives in brutal crimes.  Tell me women of SWC, why do you like this chit?

Also there was an ammo dump just about a mile away in another part of the harbor. Hitting it could have also left the fleet short of ammo.

Actually, it caught fire and exploded in 1944. Fortunately, only a few of the supply ships were destroyed otherwise it could have delayed the war.

I don't like that stuff to watch.  Maybe it's an adrenaline rush for her.  She will remain gentle as a rabbit..after her tv watching catharsis. Of course, big rabbits can kick..
