maddmaxx ★ Posted January 8 Share #1 Posted January 8 Bring tick repellant. It's sort of scrapple woods, inches deep in leaves and full of broken trees and branches. Good for a Halloween evening hike. 3

maddmaxx ★ Posted January 8 Author Share #4 Posted January 8 Until we get a good snow they will show up on every semi warm day. Last weekend I found a tick on Earl but he's still too wild to get it off. We gave him another dose of anti tick.

MickinMD ★ Posted January 9 Share #6 Posted January 9 We get them in the woods on warm days, but I've only been afflicted with one in about the last decade - I'm mostly on a paved trail, not the grass or woods. I noticed one on the inside of my knee in the summer of 2020 after I walked Jake. I called my brother and he checked Jake who had none and had a flea and tick collar.
