MickinMD ★ Posted January 9 Share #6 Posted January 9 I bought a bag of brussels sprouts that I want to roast to near-black: they get a nice sweetness. I eat them with the Polish stuffed cabbage I'm making this week.

Longjohn ★ Posted January 9 Share #9 Posted January 9 It wasn’t as cold yesterday as I thought and when I got home from church the fire was about out. I loaded up the furnace and went upstairs and put a pork tenderloins, some carrots, butternut squash, potato, onion, Brussels sprouts, and sweet potato in the oven to roast. As the fire in the furnace got going it got really warm in the house. The oven going didn’t help. I looked at the thermometer on the wall and it was 93° in the house.
