My hooman didn't feed me enough food

Be patient with her, @Waffle. She's new at this kitty stuff. I'm sure she is considering increasing your amount of food after your subtle hint letting her know you're still hungry.

I'm glad you enjoy the brushing. Keep up the purring and I'll bet you keep getting the nice brushing! 👍

Pretty neat to see you have your own account here. Welcome!

Hold out for the premium premium stuff!  There's no need for that common cat stuff.

Waffles it helps when you start calling out for food at 5am and if your human does not fill your request get their attention by pushing valuable items of the night stands and dressers.

Absolutely.  Feeding time starts by 5am - and should involve some vocalizations as well as the knocking things around.

And, "exercise" time is best done from 2am-2:30am, and should include the whole house.  If a door is closed, you should make an attempt to open it, and if that fails, whack on it repeatedly until the sleepy humans realize it NEEDS TO BE OPEN.

Your hooman should be very careful and not over feed you.  fat is not healthy for kitties or hoomans.  You may not like it but she is taking good care of you by limiting you fud.

But you Katz can’t spell wurth shit!

This has always bothered me about casting animals in anthropomorphic roles, but giving them limited cognitive ability. It is an indirect slight to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and a form of ableism.

Hoomans are built for working computers.  The mouse is hard to operate without thumbs.  It doesn't taste good, either.

I thought it was a slight to animals. 🤷

One of my sister's cats, a black cat, used to climb on the back of the chair I was sitting in and groom my hair.  He was also a lap cat and would put his front paws up at my shoulder while he stretched out across my chest, wanting me to pet him and he would purr so much I thought the chair would start vibrating.

He passed away and the current pair of cats show a little affection but are not lap cats.

I figured that cats would not spell very well, because they are not educated as we are. You are heard, and I will be more thoughtful about this.

I get that. I’ve always been sensitive about the comedic value of put-downs and the trope of the “wise fool.” I feel sad when we laugh at humiliation. Would the topic have been less entertaining if Waffle‘s persona didn’t have exaggerated phonetic spelling?

I always like when the Scarecrow get's his diploma in the Wizard of Oz and starts talking all edjumacated!  I could see that being a fun kind of anthropomorphization for cats, too!

I'm still disturbed by the Goofy vs Pluto thing.

I'd like to hear this kitty speak:

Just want to get this on the record.  I am not wise.

I don't know.  I thought it added humor, but I can totally see what you are saying. In my workplace I have received accolades for my work with people that need accommodations.  I really do try to do my best there.  I never thought about the animal thing you mentioned.  This is my first time speaking for a cat.

Waffle is very smart.  He pushed open the bedroom door and looked in this morning.  I think he knows it is an off limit area, which makes him more curious about it.

Also, he clearly wasn't happy with just kibble last night.  On some days he gets a half can and a small handful of kibble. On can days, he is more loving.  Kibble days, more aloof, but still affectionate.  On can days, he jumps on me and kneads.  Funny animal.

He likes the HoDH too.  Waffle gives a purr meow when greeting to him.

If he can do this… he can spell. He can hack the Costco supply chain and reroute delivery of cat treats to his home address.

Our cat Nugget used to move the icons around on our desktop and give them new names like kggjhiti. We thought we had a virus until we caught him doing it.

I own it. No worries; it won’t happen again.

Thank you.  Understandable though.  I have given you not a single reason to expect that I had any sort of boundaries.  Sorry if I came off harsh.  And in all honesty, if I could get a good laugh, I would probably pretend to be a cat.  But that is just between you and me.

WHISKER FATIGUE!!!

Feral cats are tough enough to handle it. Domestic cats? Not so much.

He is a hungry boy.  He eats out of that dog bowl and every piece of the food is devoured. He does the back and forth a little.  He eats and then comes over and acts like he is thanking us.  Then he runs back and eats more until it is gone.  I need to weigh him.  That will tell me better on portion.  He isn't fat, but he is large for a domestic cat.
