Randomguy Posted January 10 Share #1 Posted January 10 I have extra drugs for reflux that I won't be using, and they will just go to waste if I hang onto them. Can I sell them? Give them away? Take them all at once and see if I can still throw up? I really don't know what to do with them, but I would prefer that someone else use them rather than waste them. If we're lucky, they dissolve in the waste water, sneak through the water treatment plant, get into the downstream ecosystem, and make the world a better place.

They will cut down on acid in the seawater, that would be the extent of it. Anyway, what else can I do, other than flushing them? How can I find needy folks without breaking any laws? Can I sell them? Give them away? First I say... I've posted her that the doc who took out my gallbladder had an 'unusual' sense of humor. At our follow up meeting after the surgery.... The first thing he said when he walked into the room. "Your alive!" During our conversation... he asked if I needed needed more pain meds. I told him no, I only took one pill and I had aa lot of extra pills. He tells me... "You can take them to any school and sell them for $20 per pill." Yeah... he said that. 15 minutes ago, Razors Edge said: I prefer to flush them. And, why pollute your OWN land when you can let some suckers downstream live with your junk??? I bet used motor oil is a no-no for a septic tank too. Ugh. What a PITA those must be. That’s not what I said. Septic tanks require a little extra work. Pump out every five years. We’re good until 2026. Used earl goes to the auto parts store for recycling. Taking uncle’s prescription to see if it makes you high is still a thing. Baggies are out, though. Drop the pills into a Monster for them to drink.

So shitpit is what we got.

Longjohn ★ Posted January 10 Share #17 Posted January 10 I gave over $1,000 worth of Brilinta to my brother in law. He was worried about the high co-pay. A good functioning septic system that you don’t have boneheads flushing stupid stuff can go a lifetime without being pumped. I have never had mine pumped but I had to have my deadbeat tenants tank pumped often.

If you can't dump unused medications and used motor oil down into a septic tank, then it is way less awesome than city water & sewer. I can dump whatever the heck I want into our system. BUT DON"T FLUSH MORE THAN ONE "DISPOSABLE" WIPE AT A TIME!!!!! That's vile behavior!
