Venus will be very bright and to the right of Jupiter June - Venus (again) pairs up with Mars. On the 21st, summer solstice, the moon joins the pair for a three way display. August 12-14 is the peak Perseid meteor shower period (July 14-Sept 1) August 27 Saturn opposition- Sun, Earth, and Saturn line up and Saturn will be closest in its orbit to the Earth.
