Here we go again. Tua has been ruled out. His career is in jeopardy, just as he started getting it together this year.
Bills are entering the playoffs without Damar Hamlin, Micah Hyde and Von Miller. Micah Hyde had neck surgery in October, and may make it back for the divisional round. The other two won’t make it back this year. In the AFC, Kansas City, Cincinnati and Buffalo are the cream of the crop and could yield some epic games.

Burrow has had two weak games against the Ravens and the Bengals only scored 6 points not greatly aided by turnovers last week while the Ravens rested Mark Andrews, JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Marcus Peters, and gave an undrafted 3rd string QB his first start.  Of course, neither team was showing anything that wasn't plain vanilla because they knew they'd meet in the playoffs.

This week, with the teams playing each other in Cincy again, all those players are playing and 2nd string QB Tyler Huntley is starting.  Since Roquan Smith joined the Ravens, the D has allowed the 2nd fewest points per game in the NFL.

Back in the 2000-1 season, the Ravens D told journeyman QB Trent Dilfer, "Don't worry about scoring: we'll take care of that.  Just don't turn the ball over."  This year's D isn't that good, but it's good enough that no turnovers - including no stupid "I made a mistake, I got too cute," go-for-it on 4th down decisions by otherwise excellent coach John Harbaugh, will give the Ravens a chance against anyone.  Turnovers will likely decide this week's game.

If I was forced to bet, I'd bet on the Bengals, but the Ravens have a decent chance due mainly to their defense.  Huntley looks at his primary receiver and, if he's not open, runs with the ball, but the Ravens should have 200+ yards rushing with both Dobbins and Edwards healthy and maybe some end-around stuff from a WR.

Ok, so let's get the first thing out of the way.  SF beats SEA even though I will be watching.

Seattle is still missing their top DL and starting middle linebacker so expect a heavy dose of SF running game and a stifling defense that's going to shut our semi-productive offense down.  SF moves on.  The only chance we have is if we can stop the run -- which we can't so therefore we lose -- and if we can get our run game going (we might). But no matter how I think of the possibilities in which we can win, we won't.

Free, Easy Fantasy Games with prizes during the NFL Playoffs

I mentioned there's a Yahoo Fantasy pick-the-best-players Yahoo Road to the Big Game 7-round game that lasts throughout the playoffs - pick a new set of players for each day - in another thread.

There's also a free NBCSports Predictor game, with up to $100,000 in prizes apparently for every time there's a playoff game on NBC produced by Sunday Night Football (whether it's Sunday or not).  You multiple-choice pick the statistics (How many yards, TD's for certain players, who scores last, who wins, etc.) from each team in the game involved, which is the Chargers at Jaguars on Saturday and Ravens at Bengals on Sunday this weekend.

Finally, there's the free Fox Bet Super 6 phone app for Apple or Android, also known as Win Terry Bradshaw's Money, with a potential $50,000 in prizes.  There are 6 multiple-choice questions like in Seattle at San Fransciso, Which team will have the highest kick return avg. and what will it be? and Which team will have the most tackles and how many? (Seattle averaged 63 tackles per game, San Francisco 58 - SF's offense keeps its defense off the field more).

I think the Browns are gonna surprise everyone by removing some other team with bad directions or a magic trick or somesuch, and then win it all.

It is their year to win it all, isn't it?

I'm glad we'll finally see them get what they deserve!

We call the Harbaugh’s a lot of things, but not that:frantics:

I can't speak for Jim, but John Harbaugh;s record as Ravens Coach is 147-95, with 11 playoff appearances in 16 seasons.

That's pretty excellent.  I don't think Lamar Jackson is the long-term answer for Ravens' QB, but Harbaugh impressively shaped the offense to fit him very well.

If the Ravens were foolish enough to let John go, he'd be unemployed for 5 minutes before another NFL team would grab him as head coach.

Don’t think the Browns are smart enough to pull that off. Maybe Belichick could, though. I say that with affection as a Patriots fan.

John is not the disdain I have for the Harbaugh's.  It's his brother.

I saw that earlier today.  I know it’s easy to bitch about the officiating but I’m glad that THIS TIME others saw it the way I did.  My Rams got hosed but the Lions got absolutely screwed.

A conspiracy theorist might argue the NFL wanted the Seahawks in the playoffs over the Lions…

NFL: “So sorry. We screwed up.  Too bad.”

Lions fans will tell you the NFL has screwed them over and over again, starting with Johnson’s catch ruled incomplete against the Bears.  It’s a recurring conversation in this neck of the woods.  Th we e needs to be greater accountability for the officials.

The only problem with this argument is -- who the hell would want the Seahawks outside of Seattle??

I think it’s a feel good story, Pete Carrol divorces from Wilson, back up QB leads team to playoffs.

Yabbut I claim the Lions storming back from a 1-6 record or whatever is even a bigger feel good story.  I'm not buying into it.  We definitely benefited from calls or lack of calls that second half of the game. But a feel good Pete Carroll story doesn't seem like the answer.

I just looked in to see how bad it got and I'm surprised.

As a fan you always hope.  I thought we could maybe make it a game -- we know these guys really well. But I never expected.  I am delighted however.

I take off to a meeting and Bolts have that game. I come home and now I’m wishing I hadn’t gone to that meeting.

I was bored and frustrated with all the stupid interceptions, so I went to sleep. Imagine my surprise when I checked in this morning!

I turned off the Chargers - Jaguars game early in Q3 with the Chargers up 27-7.

I was surprised to see the Jags won 31-30!

Who do those Chargers think they are, blowing a 20 point 1st half lead, the Ravens (most of their losses occurred after double-digit 1st half leads this year)?
