BuffJim Posted January 14 Share #1 Posted January 14 What have you achieved? What is still on your list? I still want to get to Alaska (planned for May 2023) and Ireland. Achieved cross country bike trip 2009.

Ralphie ★ Posted January 14 Share #3 Posted January 14 The only one I really have is I’d like to see the Big Sur area. A busyness trip allowed me to visit the Pacific Northwest and that was quite enjoyable.

I started typing an epic fly fishing trip to some exotic location but the reality is as much as I’d love to do it, it’s not something I feel is a must do before I go type of thing so deleted it.
BR46 Posted January 14 Share #9 Posted January 14 I would still like to go to Alaska. Maybe jump out of a perfectly good working airplane. Our trip to the Isle of Man this summer is falling apart as I type this. 1

UglyBob Posted January 14 Share #11 Posted January 14 I don't really have a bucket list either, but if I did I already checked off the big one when I crewed for RAAM. That was an adventure of a lifetime.
Tizeye Posted January 14 Share #12 Posted January 14 Other than winning Powerball, which I guess I have to actually buy a ticket, my bucket list is passive. Do something new, I can cross that off my bucket list.
Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted January 14 Share #13 Posted January 14 I'd like to visit Ireland and Scotland at a leisurely pace, maybe four weeks of solo travel. Some bike rides and nice walks with pub visits periodically. Every night qualifies as periodically doesn't it? Through hike the Appalachian Trail. Visit Alaska. One of the few places I haven't seen yet. Wife of PTJ wants to do an inland passage cruise to Alaska but that's as active as she wants to be.
Kirby ★ Posted January 14 Share #14 Posted January 14 From a travel perspective, I'd like to see the Nordic Countries and Ireland, and also @Allen's fireflies. 2
shootingstar Posted January 14 Share #15 Posted January 14 I never quite had a bucket list. There were certain things that dimly seemed interesting, then later, they got supplanted by other ideas. I go from year to year, just planning dimly/absent-mindedly for 4-12 months out. Not sure that really is a bucket list approach at all.

Further Posted January 15 Share #18 Posted January 15 The physical feats have fallen to age, the travel to caring for my wife. I would like to leave some hand built items behind that people would remember me for. 1 1
Bikeguy Posted January 15 Share #19 Posted January 15 I don't have a bucket list. That said... I do want to visit all 50 states. We have only 6 left to visit; North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Georgia, Mississippi, and Louisiana. I figure we just need 2 road trips sometime to get this done.

A hippie friend in college spent a few days in jail for kicking a police car. He read all of the books on their library cart.
Prophet Zacharia Posted January 15 Share #28 Posted January 15 No bucket list for me, either. Although I have a lot of places I’d like to travel to. I would like to go to 1) India, including northern, 2) Australia, 3) Thailand, 4) Alaska and 5) a Baltic Sea cruise. I’d like to also visit the Balkans, but I don’t 100% trust the safety of that region. Did anyone win the Mega Millions last night?
