Stella is the only beer on tap and I will probably get that over a can or bottle of Peroni or Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. I like those a lot but it is hard to drink bottled or canned beer when draft is available. 1

MickinMD ★ Posted January 14 Share #9 Posted January 14 Eating in tonight. Two NFL games. I just put 3 layers of Golabki (Polish cabbage stuffed with ground beef & pork, Basmati rice, eggs, seasonings) in in the Instant Pot's 6 qt. inner pot at started up Pressure Cooking at 5:01 pm EST. It's a set-it-and-forget-it 20 min. to come up to high pressure (11.3 psi), cook 25 min at high pressure, then cool down for 15 min. to reduce the released pressure. That beats 3 hours in an oven! tI was a lot of work, but worth it. It will make 9 main meal portions. I'll seal the leftovers in bags of 12-16 oz. with a few piggies, juice, onions, and tomatoes, freeze them, give 3 to my brother's family, 2 to my sister and BiL, and that will leave 3 more for me after tonight's meal. So dinner will be a little after 6 pm. I'm trying to think of what to make for quick sides. I think nuked potato chunks and a sliced tomato will work but Bush's Baked Beans sound good, too, if I'm too tired/lazy to slice potatoes and a tomato.
Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted January 14 Share #10 Posted January 14 Don’t worry about if you’ll like her. She is under pressure as well. She is probably stressing right now, “what if they don’t like me”. Give her the benefit of the doubt. My wife’s college roommate visited us before we were married, with her husband. I made a Cesar salad, garlic bread and lasagna. They arrived and right after we met, the husband blew up at his wife. I hate lasagna, why didn’t you tell me they were making lasagna? We went out for dinner and never saw them again.

maddmaxx ★ Posted January 14 Share #12 Posted January 14 I'd be torn between the Gate House Chicken Nachos and the Wood Fired Meatballs with a side salad. On the other hand the AHI Tuna looks good too.

Kirby ★ Posted January 15 Share #17 Posted January 15 If your friend likes her, she must be making him happy and that's what matters. I've had to remember that a few times with various friends' dates.
