Dirtyhip Posted January 16 Share #1 Posted January 16 There sure are many puppies on craigs list. They would protect the van. They would protect me. They would protect the home. They could learn to help me possibly.but hodh wants a family dog.

Our German Shepard named Sadie was a rescue dog. She was VERY friendly to us. Yeah her ears, one always was folded over. She was our family dog, with our first Beagle. She was also very protective of WoBG and our home. 2 1 1

We took her in. She weighed 37 pounds, mostly skin/fur and bones, horribly under weight. We guessed she was dumped off in the area, a while before we found her. Took her to the vet. She was loaded with parasites. Got that fixed. In the picture, if I recall, she was about 76 pounds. Now... I miss her... thinking about her. 1 1
Dirtyhip Posted January 16 Author Share #5 Posted January 16 I would like a service oog. HODH seems against the idea. He wants a medium sized family oog and doesn't feel a need service oog yet.

Popular Post UglyBob Posted January 16 Popular Post Share #14 Posted January 16 There are so many puppy mills that post on there. We have always adopted from rescues and shelters. Speaking of puppies, miss Jessie is growing like a weed. She can now get her nose on the kitchen counter. She's a long little doggie... 2 2

I was seeing a lot of mix accidental litters. The humane society has a lot of mix breeds too, but they seem to be crossed with a breed that I have no itention of adopting. I would like a lab x. Maybe a GS crossed with a lab. I don't want a pit cross or a labradoodle. I know many people love pit bulls. My next dog's breed/temperment will be carefully chosen. I plan to thoughtful about that. That is my plan for my next cat. I will probably go to the shelters but I'm looking for something specific. I want a black female kitten and I want to see the personality and interaction with humans in advance.

maddmaxx ★ Posted January 16 Share #21 Posted January 16 Given the possibilities with this threads title, Yuppies was a singularly awful failed attempt at a parody. It's not legal to make a separate parody, but with the fertile ground of a title like "puppies" to start with there should have been a world class parody written.
