Online coursework would be more manageable if submitting the assignment turns off the due and overdue notices in the calendar.

That's one level of integration that is either difficult/impossible between disparate applications or a level of expenditure that management didn't feel would return the necessary ROI.

I'm glad I went to school before things were so computerized.  I might understand the substantive coursework, but I likely couldn't figure out the right box folder to upload papers.

It helps that I was on the other side of online classes, teaching others how to save and upload. My school district ran everything through Google so they could give every student a Chromebook. But Office and Word are easy enough.

I confess:  I’m about ready to quit. A lot of little things are piling up into a big obstacle to motivation to continue.

I can understand.  I returned to college at UCONN after my discharge from the navy.  Somehow I had left that life behind.  It would be 10 more years before I returned to take courses 1 at a time after work.  Of course it was just post Vietnam and I thought many of the professors were arrogant assholes.

I got an explanation of benefits saying I owe $0, and a bill from a doc for $156:wacko:

Doctor’s office is double dipping, go with the explanation of benefits.

I have one hospital that tries to pull that crap all the time. I usually call them after the third notice and tell them to look at my account that is right in front of you and look who is paying my bills. They say oh you have secondary insurance. I’m going to let it ride this time. It’s a PITA to get to talk to someone in billing. If they are really that stupid they can call me.

I can do all that while drinking a beer in the mountains instead of while typing out fully substantiated essay responses to questions, though.

That's the spirit. Keep everything in perspective. Adapt.
