smudge ★ Posted January 22 Share #1 Posted January 22 The wood stove at camp can easily overwhelm the place, but not when we're there just for the day. We were talking about it yesterday, and I decided to look into one of these fans again. I gave up on the idea when first looked into it, but it seems like a good idea for day trips. Anyone use one? KA CHAVA Kzoo Posted January 22 Share #2 Posted January 22 I know people that do. Some of those fans move little to no air. Others are great. Read the reviews.
Airehead ★ Posted January 22 Share #3 Posted January 22 My dad has one on his to move warm air into the kitchen from the den.
Allen ★ Posted January 22 Share #4 Posted January 22 My rental has a wood stove with two of those. They do ok (lower case ok). The ceiling fan is more effective. 1
Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted January 22 Share #5 Posted January 22 I'd be wary that it has a grenade pull pin on the top: 1

Gump Posted January 22 Share #8 Posted January 22 We have one. It works fine. If O really need to move air I turn on the ceiling fan.
