Popular Post MoseySusan ★ Posted January 22 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 22 I put the serving of hummus on top of a few cucumber slices instead of directly into the snack bowl. After eating chips and hummus, I ate the cucumber slices with hummus on them. No hummus left in the bowl, no swiping with my finger to get every last delicious taste. I could use lettuce, spinach, or cabbage leaves. It would work with queso, ranch dip, onion dip. Fold up the lettuce leaf, and nom nom nom. 4 3 2

Randomguy Posted January 23 Share #3 Posted January 23 I never had hummus and cucumber slices until Suzie Q introduced that to me, now it really is the only way I eat hummus. Such a great combination, and a great way you did it!

Kirby ★ Posted January 23 Share #18 Posted January 23 I typically hear or read it as part of a joking way to say I just learned this thing. But back to the hummus, how do you eat the chips and hummus? Do you put the hummus in a bowl for that?

I got the impression it was - take a bowl, line the bottom with cucumbers or lettuce or similar, add big scoop of hummus, dip crackers in hummus, when scoop is depleted, eat the cucumbers, and the bowl is "clean". 1

I'm not sure... but If I recall the only time I had hummus was at my daughters home. I'll concede the fact 'I was today years old' is a figure of speech that. I've never heard that before. I just figured... you were 22 when you started using hummus for snacking.

My kitchen window never did get traction. The use of vegetables as a snack bowl liner, though? Classic. My mom served tomato aspic on a lettuce leaf. 2
