Parr8hed Posted January 24 Share #1 Posted January 24 My dialysis machines use a specific router. One that comes with the machine. Plugs into the normal router for your wifi and connects the machine and ipad together. Had some issues on the new machine getting everything to link up. On the phone with IT and he asked me what the router said. I had to straight up tell this dude that I didn't know because I could not find it. Both of my ipads say they are hooked to it, but I will be damned if I can find where it is. I have torn this place apart.
jsharr ★ Posted January 24 Share #2 Posted January 24 Is it built into the machine?

(just a stock internet pic) I have several in the back but they are in boxes not plugged in.
Parr8hed Posted January 24 Author Share #4 Posted January 24 I can't even find the router for our clinic's internet. I swear I am going to climb up into the ceiling.

My router is in a hall closet with a cooling fan running on it. I have a mesh router plugged into it. I have another mesh point in the master bedroom and one in the front of the house in the dining room.

THere is nothing plugged into it except for one Ethernet cord that plugs into the wall. Nothing is hidden in the tiles above it. This fucker has to be hidden in some ceiling tiles somewhere. So it probably is 50 feet or less from the dialysis machine. Is this a multi story building, and the router is above or below you?

I used the app on my android phone to measure the wi-fi signal strength for my network, before and after I installed the new ASUS router about 1 year ago. (the same ASUS router I nearly killed a few days with a firmware update that didn't go very well)
