To go any farther north you need a specialist ride like a SkiDo or a de Havilland Otter. Fairbanks itself is easy to get to, and easy to get around in. Folks are nice. Alaskan architecture is very much Neo-I don’t give a shit, mixed with classical Tyvek. And the food ain’t much different. Land is cheap, houses are expensive. I’d be perfectly happy with a container house off of Chena Springs Rd.
