KrAzY Posted December 27, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 27, 2014 It is F'ing awesome.. I never laughed as hard during a movie before... I chuckled a few times during a lot of movies, but this one is a MUST WATCH!
Destination Posted December 27, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 27, 2014 Just wondering if you would have seen the movie had it not been for the recent news headlines about it.
KrAzY Posted December 27, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted December 27, 2014 I try to watch every movie that comes across the website I get to watch all my movies on.. Since it is a comedy, I more then likely would have watched it because of Seth Rogan without knowing what it was about.
Road Runner Posted December 27, 2014 Share #4 Posted December 27, 2014 I was going to go see it just on principle, but it hasn't opened here yet. (I don't think) I wouldn't ordinarily watch this sort of movie, but if it is shown here locally, I will go.

Does this mean you're going to let the leader of North Korea influence the movies you watch?
Road Runner Posted December 28, 2014 Share #7 Posted December 28, 2014 Does this mean you're going to let the leader of North Korea influence the movies you watch? Yes. I guess so. Kind of ironic, isn't it?
KrAzY Posted December 28, 2014 Author Share #8 Posted December 28, 2014 Yes. I guess so. Kind of ironic, isn't it? It's still better then letting AWWC influence the movies you watch
LoneWolf Posted December 28, 2014 Share #9 Posted December 28, 2014 I'm torn. 1) Watching a movie because North Korean leadership hates it and tried to use intimidation and threats to stop it (plus) 2) Giving Sony any money (minus)

Road Runner Posted December 28, 2014 Share #11 Posted December 28, 2014 I'm going to take Krazy's word for it. If it was SW, I wouldn't because he doesn't know funny. Neither would I trust Ralph, because he likes things like Dumb and Dumber and Caddyshack.
Destination Posted December 28, 2014 Share #12 Posted December 28, 2014 During the World War II era, Disney put out some anti-Nazi animated films featuring Mickey and Donald. (Mickey and Donald were the good guys.) I wonder if The Interview will be remembered as this generation's attempt at the same thing. And no, I'm not comparing Seth Rogan to Goofy. Parr8hed Posted December 28, 2014 Share #14 Posted December 28, 2014 I would have waited until it came out on HBO or Showtime, as we get both. I most certainly would have watched it then. I would not have gone to a theater to watch. I very rarely do that.
Square Wheels Posted December 28, 2014 Share #15 Posted December 28, 2014 Does anyone here know someone in the Korean government? Based on the facts that the movie industry is failing and the American economy is continuing to struggle, despite what Obama wants to believe, I suspect we made this all up. If we can rally Americans around the movie industry and get people by the millions out to see movies to support them against the terrorist activities of another government, then it's a huge win for the economy and the movie industry. Oh yeah, we never landed on the moon either.

Dirtyhip Posted December 28, 2014 Share #19 Posted December 28, 2014 Movie tickets is not something that I usually spend money on. The last movie I saw was Avatar, I think.

If we can rally Americans around the movie industry and get people by the millions out to see movies to support them against the terrorist activities of another government, then it's a huge win for the economy and the movie industry. Say it isn't so. If this was nothing but an orchestrated effort to get people to support the movie industry, could nobody find a better movie? From everything I've heard about The Interview, it's not anywhere close to the same level of cinematic excellence as The Godfather or Casablanca or other notable movies from earlier generations.
