Popular Post MickinMD ★ Posted March 9, 2023 Popular Post Share #1 Posted March 9, 2023 I was looking a red bell peppers when this bag caught my eye. Seven tiny bell peppers, 12 oz, and I thought - even before I read the "perfect portion" circle on the upper right of the package, "One of them is just right for a salad!" So I bought them and re-thought my garden for this year (bottom pic). I've already got 2 relatives and a friend who want me to grow some for them, so it's good I bought cheap (but no Prime free shipping) packages of 100 seeds each for red and yellow baby bells. They also sell mixed-color seeds, but they don't produce different color ripe peppers on the same plant, so you'd just be guessing what color you planted. So I stuck with red and yellow. 4
Popular Post Further Posted March 9, 2023 Popular Post Share #2 Posted March 9, 2023 I got about 10 kinds of pepper seeds, and I'll prolly buy a few started plants. I like peppers and I enjoy growing them. Tomatoes I'm cutting way back on, I like them, but don't enjoy growing them. I don't need the produce, so flowers and peppers are where it's at for me this year. 5

Similar for me, but the peppers are more like non hot chilis than bells. Also snow peas, celery, grapes, daikon, green pepper, jalapeno, and regular radishes.
sheep_herder ★ Posted March 9, 2023 Share #6 Posted March 9, 2023 We love bell peppers, and buy the big ones when they are on sale. Eat it all, or remainder keeps well in a zip lock bag. Work as well, or better than chips with dip.
