groupw Posted March 18, 2023 Share #2 Posted March 18, 2023 I have a couple mesquite saplings to move around. I need to do it now while planting season is prime. Our Chinese Elm gets delivered April 6th. That’s the tail end of when I would feel good about it, but that was the first delivery date to Maricopa that didn’t conflict with Mom’s visit.
JerrySTL ★ Posted March 18, 2023 Share #3 Posted March 18, 2023 We think we have squirrels transplanting daffodil bulbs in our yard. There are three growing in the middle of the grass more than 5 feet from where we planted daffs. And all three are not close to each other. We think the only other possibility is moles moving them around as moles are a problem in our neighborhood. What's really strange is that daff bulbs are poisonous, or at least not tasty, to moles, squirrels, and even deer. 2

That’s the front yard next to the driveway. The neighbors tick farm is on the other side of the fence. Here’s the daffodils in the far back corner of our yard. These will all be transferred to the front where we can see them better. 1
