AirwickWithCheese Posted December 31, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 31, 2014 I'm missing an ingredient..... seems like it was a nut or seed? but don't remember... What would work with this? Penne wheat pasta with chopped spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, feta cheese. Was it garbanzo beans?
Zephyr Posted December 31, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 31, 2014 I think you'd want some crunch for texture, to go with those ingredients. Maybe toasted pine nuts?
UglyBob Posted December 31, 2014 Share #3 Posted December 31, 2014 Garbanzos would work, but I would be more inclined to go with pine nuts or slivered almonds.

Zephyr Posted December 31, 2014 Share #9 Posted December 31, 2014 I would think so. UB and can't both be wrong, can we? They are fine plain, but I prefer them lightly toasted in a dry pan until just starting to brown. Now I am all hungry.

Hmm - I wonder if it is too late to plant me some garlic. The ground is nowhere near frozen yet, so maybe not!
