Airehead Posted March 19 Share #1 Posted March 19 21 degrees. It snowed hard for a short time overnight. The roads are slick this morning with a think sheet of icy snow. Salt tracks had been out in Livingston County but not Monroe. Or maybe the salt treatment is because this is a 2 lane (1/1) state road.

MickinMD Posted March 19 Share #4 Posted March 19 Cold and very windy today, then a great week. The yardwork I've been putting off has to get done this week.
Parsnip Totin Jack Posted March 19 Share #5 Posted March 19 What @MickinMD said. Saturday was very nice. We accomplished a lot outside. Transplanted a lot of daffodils from the backyard to the front along the driveway. On Thursday commute I picked up a nail in the front passenger tire. My tire place turned out to be closed on Saturdays now. Son of Parsnip used a tire plug kit he has and fixed the leak. We made plans as to where the shed will be built. Son of Parsnip wants a platform underneath as his motorcycles will be in there. Grilled bacon cheeseburgers and hotdogs on the Weber. Made a pot of chili to go with the dogs, no beans. 1

Haven’t seen any reports on Twitter or Facebook. Going out in about 45 minutes. We didn’t get much snow in the metro.

I have gotten to ride my good bike to work 5 days in a row now. Hockey ends this weeks so I can start doing some longer rides

On the warm up lap a rider went down hard in front of him and I went between the guy on the ground and the bike missing both by inches. I ended up out in the grass and was able to keep it upright. 1

I’ve tried a few times, but I just have a hard time with NASCAR anymore. I skipped yesterday doing errands so I need to get in a ride today. Then I do a little taper this week so I feel good for the 5k on Saturday before we get Mom from the airport.
