Square Wheels Posted January 1, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 1, 2015 Injury free sounds great. I want to ride the Mt Washington century in under 6 hours.
UglyBob Posted January 1, 2015 Share #3 Posted January 1, 2015 I just want to actually get my ass on the bike with a little more regularity.

I helped you with that before, and will nag you about it again if you think it will help.
Road Runner Posted January 1, 2015 Share #5 Posted January 1, 2015 What cycling related goal do you have for 2015? An injury free year year of cycling is my only goal. I agree. Plus I am hoping for fewer medical problems that might prevent me from cycling. Not a goal, just a hope.
Former member Posted January 1, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted January 1, 2015 I agree. Plus I am hoping for fewer medical problems that might prevent me from cycling. Not a goal, just a hope. My doctor told me last March that I'd need hernia surgery in 6-12 months. That was just over 10 months ago, so I'm starting to anticipate a problem in the near future. JerrySTL ★ Posted January 1, 2015 Share #7 Posted January 1, 2015 Minimum 4K miles, 5-day or longer tour, and at least one century ride. Just missed the 4k miles in 2014. First time since 1999.
Pokey Posted January 1, 2015 Share #8 Posted January 1, 2015 I just want to actually get my ass on the bike with a little more regularity. Ditto. The last two years were cycling challeneged. Time and all that crap. 2015..priorities are going to change.

bikeman564™ Posted January 1, 2015 Share #11 Posted January 1, 2015 3-4 k miles would be nice. Been a few years since I had that much. And injury free

KrAzY Posted January 1, 2015 Share #13 Posted January 1, 2015 I plan to ride, that is all... just enjoy the road and the cars whipping by. I will be doing a ride with GrandmaRides and Petite in Aug.. Think it is the 62 mile.

KrAzY Posted January 1, 2015 Share #15 Posted January 1, 2015 Who is this GrandmaRides person you speak of? Where has she been? She is a cranky old broad... She says she has been busy, and doesn't have time for us right now. Other then that, her and I text back and forth from time to time :)

Still, the 10K he rode (road?) last year is impressive.

It's only 33 miles a day(less than 2 hours a day).

Zephyr Posted January 2, 2015 Share #22 Posted January 2, 2015 Mine is to still love riding my bike this time next year. And ideally 5000km, but that is not hard and fast.
Longjohn ★ Posted January 2, 2015 Share #23 Posted January 2, 2015 I would like to get in more miles this year. Strava prompted me to post my year on Strava, I ignored them but they kept after me. It didn't look too bad if you didn't try to figure out the total miles. My total miles were not my total anyway because half the time I never turned on Strava. I am planning on doing a ride in Sept. with digital photographer. I met a guy that lives down the road from me that bikes a lot. We are considering doing the DC to Pittsburgh, Pa. trail with his son this summer. My wife holds me back on riding as much as I would like. She doesn't want me doing multi-day rides by myself the way I did the Washington ride the first time. A year of riding with no broken bones would be nice. az_cyclist Posted January 2, 2015 Share #24 Posted January 2, 2015 I would like to at least maintain the fitness I achieved in 2014, and ride 5 California double centuries. I have to work around my work schedule, but I would like to ride a couple of the Arizona brevet series as well. I want to add the Camino Real and Davis double centuries.
