MickinMD ★ Posted March 25, 2023 Share #1 Posted March 25, 2023 Notre Dame led at the half 32-31 The announcers have been praising Notre Dame all game and even said, "Maryland can't seem to get any rhythm going," in the 3rd quarter while Maryland was in the midst of outscoring Notre Dame 26-13! It's Maryland 57, Notre Dame 45 with 10 minutes left. Update: Maryland 61, Notre Dame 45 with 9 minutes left. I hope the Terps get their rhythm going! Update: Maryland went ahead 76-54 with 2 min. left, put their subs in, and won 76-59. As the 4th quarter wore on, suddenly the announcers had good things to say about the Terrapins! U. of Maryland is the "Terrapins" or "Terps" because was originally an agricultural college a couple hundred years ago and turtles were a common sight on farmer's fields and beneficial to farm ponds. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
