I think to myself... <Is he fatter? Did he lose more hair? Does he have a new zit?> He announces to me and the other gal..."I am one notch tighter on my belt!" I didn't reply. I would guess you are one of the very few people who doesn't outright tell him how repulsive his behavior is. So compared with everyone else he interacts with, he gets the least negative reaction from you. Which I suspect he has twisted around into some sort of interpretation that you like him.
