AirwickWithCheese Posted January 17, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2015 Approximately 7 year annual tradition. First nice Saturday of January I start a 3 day buffet for our small ones. 12 heads of lettuce. 12 bags of carrots. 10 lbs of pecans 15 lb bag of birdseed each of the 3 days. New water for all the birdbaths and special treats for all the wrens living in the birdhouses.
Ralphie ★ Posted January 17, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 17, 2015 Now I can picture you as Cinderella, living and conversing with the birds.
AirwickWithCheese Posted January 17, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted January 17, 2015 Some of our birds, Carolina wrens, spend the winter in the carport. Some of the other birds try to sneak in but they aren't allowed. I love all birds but I show favoritism to my wrennies. :)
Ralphie ★ Posted January 17, 2015 Share #4 Posted January 17, 2015 I call BS on the pecans! 10 lbs would cost a fortune!
AirwickWithCheese Posted January 17, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted January 17, 2015 This is Greenville. Food is in abundance. My total food bill was 130+ but that included my shopping too. Moonpies, etc. Birdseed was separate at Lowes.
