Ralphie ★ Posted January 19, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted January 19, 2015 Did I miss this recipe? The addition of chickpea puree was a little different, and it really gave it some body. Lots of curry powder made it very tasty. http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2011/02/dinner-tonight-curried-lentil-soup-with-chickpea-puree.html

Ralphie ★ Posted January 19, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted January 19, 2015 Looks good...I might have to try that. The only downside is it might take a day or two for the curry smell to clear out of the house.

I made curried chickpea and sweet potato soup last night - soooo yummy Dammit, I told him not to tell you! I guess because I got bored on the third night of eating it. I think I'll freeze the last portion. But I am watching a show on the giant redwoods on Nat Geo, so that should help atone. Mmm - your soup sounds good too! I don't mind lentils if they are spiced up a good bit, but they give me heartburn and reflux and PRI.

SuzieQ Posted January 22, 2015 Share #21 Posted January 22, 2015 What do you have against lima beans? I don't even remember what they taste like. I hated them as a kid, the taste and texture and my mother would force me to eat them so I would swallow them whole. I guess it's a samskara thing
