That used to be a low water crossing at the creek built by some of the original settlers on the land. It was a wide concrete dam with pipes just below the road surface so that at normal flow, the creek would go through the pipes and during high flow, it would go over the dam. Back in the 90's, the city of Richardson covered the dam in stone to make it look more like a waterfall. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
