Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted January 26, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 26, 2015 Biography of Paul Jennings, slave of President Madison. And I purchased for my Dad. It has an extensive chapter on the P-38, which I think was the most versatile Allied fighter of the war.
Pokey Posted January 26, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 26, 2015 P38's are feaking beautiful There used to be one here in Chicago....at DuPage County Airport. The hanger it was in doubled as a machine shop. The above nose art was from the plane. It has since left...don't know where it landed. There was also a Spitfire there too...it belonged to Cliff Robertson, the actor. Another beautiful plane. My all time favorite was the P-47 Thunderbolt. Big badass beautiful planes.
