Dirtyhip Posted February 21, 2015 Share #6 Posted February 21, 2015 Publix? I never seen one, never shopped there. Oh,and people that shop at whole foods are dummies. Do they burn their money in the fireplace for heat too?

I am a little miffed that Trader Joe's and Wegman's are so fricking far away. Thankfully Shoprite is decent enough, just no pizazz.

Dirtyhip Posted February 21, 2015 Share #9 Posted February 21, 2015 We have this amazing little grocery store called Sherm's Thunderbird. Their prices are fair and reasonable. They have the best selection of local foods and a great healthy food section. Their bulk bin section is very extensive. I can get hemp seeds, coconut sugar, almond flour and other very random things in bulk. It's a health nut paradise. Oddly enough, they even have plenty of packaged food too. They cater to everyone. I can even get local raw honey there. I swear they would sell unpasteurized milk too, if they could get away with it. Thank you Sherm. I should write them a letter to tell them how awesome they are. Feel so lucky. I am falling in love again, with my town. http://www.shermsmarkets.com/index.htm

Dirtyhip Posted February 22, 2015 Share #43 Posted February 22, 2015 local non-chain market. The smallest regional we have is Sherms. They are still a chain. They have 3 stores in Oregon. You walk in that place and it still feels like a supermarket. It seems like the tiny market is a rarity these days.
bikeman564™ Posted February 22, 2015 Share #44 Posted February 22, 2015 The store I buy my grub in is a one and only. I like the smaller size, less people, more friendly employees and customers. I've been in Kroger and Meijer, but really do not like the chaos .
