UglyBob Posted February 26, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 26, 2015 ... I was in the ER having a heart attack. Now today, I just finished riding 20 miles and I have all restrictions lifted this Saturday... at least by the doctors. My wife is still a little freaked out about me getting too far from home.
Square Wheels Posted February 26, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 26, 2015 HTFU, you should have ridden your bike to the hospital while you were having the heart attack, BoSox would have. Glad you're still with us and doing better!

Glad you're still with us and doing better! Bosox usually goes by ambulance. In fact, I think he has enough miles logged for an upgrade on his next trip.

I hope I never get hit so many times that some refers to my "usual" mode of transportation to the trauma center.

Former member Posted February 26, 2015 Share #9 Posted February 26, 2015 Bosox usually goes by ambulance. In fact, I think he has enough miles logged for an upgrade on his next trip.I've been taken to the hospital for cycling injuries only 3 times. The last time was the only time I wasn'f life-flighted there. Strangely my last wreck was the one with life threatening injuries. I wonder if they didn't want to waste money on a likely DOA. BTW Bob, so glad you are well enough to ride alone. Don't take this the wrong way, but let's work on your weight. Remember being this guy?
