Would I enjoy living in the town/area where you do?

That is not enough of a reason to live anywhere, it is the quality of the rat that is more important than the size.  Plus, there is the moral component to the rat population, are they nice rats, well-groomed, tell good jokes, etc.?  A lot of factors to consider, and that is just the rats we are dealing with.

That is a point in its favor, it would seem.

It seems not many people like living in CT, why is that?

CT is a state of wild variance.  In one Corner is NY and on the other side is Boston.  In between there are numerous cities.........but right here we are the remains of New England farmer hicks, cows country and all.  I presently have a group of about 10 deer in the back yard that I just finished feeding.  I like that a lot better than much of CT.

Nope, this is supposed to be an excellent town with excellent schools to raise kids.  Which means lots of yuppy parents who get bent out of shape over the tiniest little thing.

If you had land, or a downtown residence, yes. If you lived in one of the cookie cutter subdivisions that sprung up all over the county, well, I don't see how anyone could be happy in one of those turtles.

Because it's a house and a place to put your junk, just like any other house.

Where the women are strong...the men are good looking and the children are above average....WINTER keeps it that way..keeps the riff raff out  :nod head:  We have excellent theatre, a great bike culture, four seasons, good education and medicine and great outdoors.......NO you wouldn't  like it here.

...when I lived north of the Twin Cities for a few years, whenever we were freezing our asses off in February, it was customary to mention that at least there were no poisonous snakes.:)

Where north of the twin cities...I am from North Eastern MN...like 120 miles from Canada

Not that far.  We were a buncha hippies living on a farm just outside Forest Lake, so about 40 miles north of St Paul.

But my gorgeous, Norwegian-american, second ex-wife lived in Superior, WI for a number of years prior to our tempestuous love affair. :)
