Scott in MN Posted April 6, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2015 Finished laying 450 ft2 of hardwood floor. Enough to host Easter dinner. ~150 ft2 more to go. I'm slowly getting conditioned for this work. First few sessions my back and legs would ache from all the bending over. Now I feel like I can go all day. Also got in a 23 miles windy ride on Saturday.

Scott in MN Posted April 6, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted April 6, 2015 Can you come finish mine?I will be working on this house for years. We moved in with no trim, flooring or cabinets. We are doing that on our own. I enjoy doing the work as long as I do it at such a pace as not to get burned out.Flooring is prefinished Hickory.

Scott in MN Posted April 6, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted April 6, 2015 Ha, problem is that I could never earn a living doing this type of work. I do perfect work, but it takes me forever.
maddmaxx ★ Posted April 6, 2015 Share #8 Posted April 6, 2015 There's that one spot there with the two boards similar in color too close together for the random effect.
Scott in MN Posted April 6, 2015 Author Share #9 Posted April 6, 2015 I blame my wife, she did the layout. She almost put as much time into the layout as I did the actual installation.
