Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted April 10, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 10, 2015 I admit I know very little about alcoholic beverage brand names. But I would say you're off to a good start because it appears your drink matches your socks.
smudge ★ Posted April 11, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 11, 2015 Had a Riwaka IPA I made a long time ago. It's OK, but nothing worth writing home about.

Zealot Posted April 13, 2015 Share #15 Posted April 13, 2015 I'm actually drinking my Clan's own brand. Very cheap, but not bad compared to bourbons and Canadian wiskeys in the same price range. But, I'm going to buy a 30 year Glenfiddich or Glenlivet come Fathers Day.
ahsposo Posted April 13, 2015 Share #16 Posted April 13, 2015 Bombay white, rocks, I'm trying to figure where I'll get the money for last year's taxes and my 2015 estimates. I need some liquid courage, but clarity, when I walk into to local stop and rob.

jsharr ★ Posted April 14, 2015 Share #18 Posted April 14, 2015 I had gin and bitter lemon this weekend. An Aussie friend brought me a bottle of Schwepps Bitter Lemon, which I was introduced to in England and could not find in Dallas. Alas, it is now gone, but I tried my hand at making my own and it was passable. In a shaker filled with ice 1 1/2 oz gin 1/2 ounce lemon juice 1/2 tsp extra fine sugar ( I used powdered sugar) shake and then strain over ice. Top off with 4 oz tonic water garnish with a lime wedge.
Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted April 14, 2015 Share #19 Posted April 14, 2015 Water. I'm cutting back on alcohol for now. Several reasons, I sleep better. I want to lose 20 pounds, I've been treating depression with alcohol for too long.

Square Wheels Posted April 14, 2015 Share #25 Posted April 14, 2015 I thought you said you never drank?I didn't drink as a teen, then I turned the legal drinking age, whatever that was back then, and ouch. I drank too much. I stopped for a while, then went to college. Even though I didn't live there, I found lots of people to drink with. Again, I drank way too much. Ever since then I've slowed down a lot to the point I rarely drink. A couple times a year, maybe.
