16 @‌ 12.5 this year total 292. Started great heading west with a 5mph east wind felt good coming home headed into east wind increasing to 10 mph, breeze at back always fools me in to thinking I am getting faster  :-)

I got 95.5 miles in yesterday.

I hit some major hills at the 80 mile mark instead of the 50 mile mark and it almost destroyed me.

195.2 miles @ 14.1 rolling ave, the Davis Double Century.  for those wondering, they had to cut 12 miles from the route due to construction.  We rode from the hotel to the start, which added about 7 miles.

Great ride, with great support from the host Davis Bike Club. 

A sad note, a rider was killed early in the ride.  All I know is he was hit be a tractor trailer going thru an intersection shortly after 5 am

​We heard about it at the 3rd rest stop, I think. then more at rest stop 7  (there were 9 sag stops;  the Davis Bike Club arranges it because there are a number of cyclists riding their first double)
