Square Wheels Posted November 15, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2013 If you wear a ring (wedding band or other) do you take it off? My wife wears hers all the time: shower, sleeping, gardening, painting... I wear mine during the day and take it off for most activities.
Gump Posted November 15, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 15, 2013 All I wear is my wedding band and I wear it all the time.
jsharr Posted November 15, 2013 Share #3 Posted November 15, 2013 I wear my wedding band during the day and take it off at night before I go to bed. I do not like to leave the house without it. I take it off also when working with power tools were it might get hung up and when sailing generally. Biking I am about 50/50 on versus off. Kzoo Posted November 15, 2013 Share #4 Posted November 15, 2013 Mine sits on my ring finger below a permanently swollen knuckle from a basketball injury. It will not come off. I almost took a trip the the ER to get it cut off at the time of the injury but I toughed it out with several more hours of ice and elevation. Zephyr Posted November 15, 2013 Share #5 Posted November 15, 2013 My wedding ring is the only ring I wear. It is on 99% of the time. It only comes off when I am working around power tools and/or building or construction activities. Other than that, all my sports etc I leave it on. KrAzY Posted November 15, 2013 Share #6 Posted November 15, 2013 I have not wore my ring since the day after I got married to my wife.. My job is very hands on and rings are a big no no if you want to keep your finger. I do have a ring tattooed on so I at least look to be married:)
Randomguy Posted November 15, 2013 Share #7 Posted November 15, 2013 I thought this was going to be the post where you tell us all about your cock-rings, you pervert.
JerrySTL Posted November 15, 2013 Share #8 Posted November 15, 2013 I had a job for years where wearing a ring wasn't allowed. During those years I seldom wore the ring. Now I usually wear it except to bed or when working around machinery and electrical devices. I will take if off for long walks and jogs as my fingers tend to swell up. tybeegb Posted November 15, 2013 Share #9 Posted November 15, 2013 I only wear it when I go out anywhere, pub crawl, Home Depot, yadda-yadda, especially in the boat. I take it off when I'm around the house. I've seen too many fingers really mangled when a ring catches on something. Scares me.

Longjohn Posted November 17, 2013 Share #13 Posted November 17, 2013 I wear mine most all the time. I've worn out two gold wedding rings. I bought myself a sterling silver band and right after I bought that my wife bought me one. I always wear gloves when working so my ring hasn't got caught in anything and ripped my finger off yet. When I'm in good bike shape my ring slides off too easily so I usually have a season when I don't wear a ring.
