TrentonMakes Posted May 30, 2015 Share #1 Posted May 30, 2015 23.7 miles at 15.1 mph. Up early today - I was home by 8:30 but it was already really sticky. I stopped and readjusted the seat post about five times. It's no better. I'm ready to cut an aluminum can shim.
Square Wheels Posted May 30, 2015 Share #2 Posted May 30, 2015 How did the paste work?It really grabs my carbon on carbon pretty tight and I'm no lightweight. I put a lot of weight on my saddle.
TrentonMakes Posted May 30, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted May 30, 2015 They told me between the new collar and the grease it should hold just fine. I will insist on the paste this time - though I'm thinking this seat post may indeed be too small (as I think Zealot posited in my earlier thread). Ralphie ★ Posted May 30, 2015 Share #4 Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) Just like any upgrade - never without teething problems. Good for you for getting out early today! I remember when I was motivated to get out on the bike early on a weekday morning - barely, though. I have similar problemos with replacement batteries for Hondas. Seems the terminals are always a touch too small for the terminals. * - my like for your OP is just for the riding part, not the seat post part, except for the aluminium** shim part. ** - (This Dumas spell checker didn;t flag that Norm Crosby-ism - maybe because it is stuck on British Englich.)
