Call it 12 miles, on the towpath.At one point I scared off a blue heron waiting on the side of the canal. He flew away, above the canal and right alongside me for ~100 yards. Amazing, magnificent, awesome to watch. (I'm lucky I didn't end up in the canal myself) 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
