I think laser pointers to bother the guys on the bench could be fun.  Of course, someone might take it the wrong way, there is that possibility.  People complain a lot about things like that.

the only thing I ever threw out on the ice was a hat

 

it was a hardhat and the score was 2-0, but......

I played a game last week where someone blew a whistle.  Everyone just stopped so the ref blew the play down.  It prevented a good scoring chance for the other team so I'm considering bringing one to the bench with me every game.
